Michael Blundell-Lithco is a British-Irish Writer, Director, Actor & Producer based in London, primarily working in collaborative theatre practice and narrative film.
As of 2017, Michael has Written, Directed & Produced his own independent short films, working with scaled down crews and applying the techniques of Guerrilla Filmmaking.
Since 2016, Michael has been involved in the contemporary theatre scene within the UK and across Europe, collaborating with companies and artists such as MAS Productions (UK/DE), Decoupage Collective (FR), New Light Productions (UK), Threedumb Theatre (UK), Original Impact Theatre (UK), 45 Feet Tall Productions (NO), Holly Delefortrie (UK), RoadWorks Media (UK) & The Ozu Culture Centre (IT).
From 2016 to 2018, Michael was a Principle Performer and Co-Founder of Romantika (UK/SE), an international theatre company that toured within the UK and across Europe.
Michael originally trained at Rose Bruford College and The Estonian Academy of Music & Theatre. He has facilitated theatre & filmmaking workshops at Cambridge Regional College, West Suffolk College, The Ozu Culture Centre, 1 Love Community, Stanley Halls and Ape Media. Michael has also worked as a Visiting Lecturer at the University or Northampton for their Acting & Creative Arts programs, and has worked as a Visiting Director at Rose Bruford College, collaborating with students from a variety of different programs.
